While the grand opening was on the 19th of May 2017, the story behind this restaurant began 10 years earlier when the owner “Khun Sutham Samthong”, a native of Koh Samui, raised an albino buffalo name “Khow Soda” with his best friend that became an unbeaten champion fighting buffalo on the island – until the day of his best friend’s passing; may he rest in peace.

Khow Soda is the master brand that describes the identity of this restaurant. We are simple, loyalty, honest and kinfolk-oriented. It all comes together in this industrial design; untidy, brave and a rawness with style.
